The railroad may be a great deal more imrotpant in the next year when the Panama Canal expansion is completed and the Inland Port that has been approved for 3000 acres between Lake City and Lake Butler is built. There is a great deal of economic impact that a logistics project of this size will create. Rail, truck, ship will be connected at this port to distribute goods all over the southeast and Newberry could be a major connector in this area because we are within 1/2 hour of almost every major route that goes thru Florida.
